Authorities say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash late Friday on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena. According to the California Highway Patrol, the rider was traveling westbound and began to take an exit when they attempted to return to the main lanes near the Fair Oaks Avenue offramp. The motorcyclist then fell from the bike around 11:31 p.m. The rider was taken to a hospital, where they later died from their injuries, officials said. Both directions of the 210 Freeway were shut down after the collision and were reopened at about 1:29 a.m., according to the CHP.
